The Colt Association was set up to celebrate the achievements of Harry Colt and his associates.

Harry Shapland Colt, John Morrison, Charles Hugh Alison OBE and Dr Alister MacKenzie, designed, developed or amended over 300 courses around the globe. The majority of golfers are unaware of their exploits. There has never been, or is unlikely to ever be, another opportunity to unite so many leading golfing venues with a common heritage.

The Association Committee believes that the Colt Association can be of benefit to clubs and their members by providing opportunities to meet and share information. In addition it feels it has a has a responsibility towards promoting the heritage of golf, through the incredible work undertaken by these great people.
